D. & E, furloughed from Hospital, Grenada, Miss. October 15, 1864, surrendered with detailed men at Grenada, Miss., May 1, 1865, paroled at Grenada, Miss., May 18, resident of Tallahatchie Co., Miss.

* This battery was broken up about July, 1864, it became an independent organization known as Capt. McLendon’s Battery, Mississippi Light Artiller,y August 19, 1864, the designation was changed to Capt. Merrin’s Battery Mississippi Light Artillery
