Dear Virgil
Thanks; Have been working on it for a life time so no big hurry,
My Ancestor, One Private W R Pickett, was in the 36th Mississippi and was
was surrendered July 04th, 1863.
Later joined Wirt Adams Regiment with his Brothers - in - Laws.
Wounded at Franklin Presbyterian Chruch which is up between Vaughn and Lexington in Holmes County, I think.
He left us the word about Gun Shot wounds.
"It it occurs to someone else it may be a Minor wound,
If it occurs to you they are all Major wounds."
I was up to Soldier's Rest the other day,
was going to speak to you,
But have feet probelems and gettign around trojubles and could not make it.
However, that was very nice,'
