J. G. Langston, 12th Miss Cav

J. G. Langston (b. 1846; d. 1914) is interred beside Soldiers' Rest, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Vicksburg, Miss., along with many other CSA vets. His marker gives no indication of his regiment. The only reference I can find for his service is in the Mississippi Confederate Grave Registrations, where he is shown as having been in the 12th Miss.

fold3 doesn't have a record; no roster I've found has his name. I also checked the Confederate Parole Records just in case he was there -- nope. (Parole records are at
http://www.nps.gov/vick/learn/historyculture/confederate-parole-records-l.htm )

The photo of his marker and my scanty info about him is at

Thanks for any help.
