At 1860s there was a Landing on the Red River somewhere Southward from present day Minden Louisiana.
It appeared to me that it had somehing to do with the City of Minden.

Regardless, and again I Apologize.

Has any one done any work on the COmmossery Supplies that moved down the Red River to the Missisisppi.
Up Stream to Vicskburg.
Or downstream to Port Hudson, where they moved Eastward deeper into the Confedercy.
