Your person kinda sounds like mine. He started out the war with the 43 Ms inf with at least 2 of his brothers and one brother in law and at some point got with the 1st Ms inf ended up KIA at Port Hudson. Never got a good understanding of how and why this happened. Figured in battle might have got seperated from his unit so just got with another unit from same place. John Itawamba Co Ms
