Camp Davies was located at Sand Hill about 4 miles south of Camp Clear Creek. Camp Clear Creek was east of Corinth and south of Hwy 72 near Liddon Lake. Years ago you could still see the depressions where the remains of Union soldiers who died at the camp were disinterred and moved to the National Cemetery in Corinth. The earthworks around the Camp Davies compound are very evident today but one word of caution. The camp is on private property and it would not be a good idea to get off the road without permission.
