Captain Gayle's Cemetery is located on the long abandoned portion of the Milldale to Templeton Plantation Road a short distance southward from the ancient village of Milldale.

The First Two or Three miles abandoned many years past.
It interected with what is today "GoAll Road," and evitunitally with the Vicksburg Benton Highway at Templetons, From there it followed the ridge top in a circular fashion to the Steam Boat Landing at Vicksburg, Foot of Jackson Street.

All the way from Milldale to the Steam Boat Landing and never corssed a Culvert.

I was at Captain Gayle's Cemetery in the 1980s and it had just about disappeared.
I do not remember any sign of Confederate Graves.
