I have letters from my g-g-great grandfather who served in the Seventh Battalion. All of the letters are written during the summer of 1862 and he (presumably) died in September/October 1862. His brother, Bradford Shows, also served in the battalion and survived the war only to eventually die of complications of wounds received. You can contact me at dszumbro@aol.com.
