Re: Two Mississippi brothers off to war

My wife descends from a half sister of these two men. Thank you for the research. It is to say the very least in depth. I have a picture of both Felix and Hamilton in Union uniforms taken in Natchez MS after the War. Felix referred to living in Belmont Co Ohio as voluntary exile. Neither brothers were apparently welcomed in Natchez after swapping sides. Hamilton was traveling to meet Felix to discuss some family business when he got ill and died. That is why he is buried where he was. These men came from very wealthy families in Natchez. Their mother was raised by Uncle Manuel Garcia Texada . They descend from Richard Trevillian and Major John Cook of Utica, MS. Felix did admit he had been using an Alias at one point. I saw it one his records.
