Note, his file is indexed as Gideon G. Garner, the card listing his admittance to Way Hospital is the only one listing his middle initial as ‘L’

His regiment was engaged at Franklin and Nashville, Tenn. in December, 1864

* The number ‘5’ is crossed over and replaced with the number ’43’
