Bill---Wish I could help you. I have a lot more questions than answers, my wife's
g-g-grandfather was in the 6th MS Inf and we have a death certificate I found in
Fold3 that he died at Way Hospital in Okolona MS Dec. 11, 1864 certificate no. 804,
there is a big Confederate cemetery in Okolona, I cannot find his name listed so I
assume he one of the hundreds of unknown, I cannot find anything about Way Hospital.
His name was R. K. Williams, signed up with Co. E Lake Rebels, maybe someone will have
some answers here.
