Co E, 1st Mississippi Reserves-R.C. Presley

Can anyone help me? I am trying to determine if the R.C. Presley who served in Co E, 1st Miss. Reserves could possibly have been my great-grandfather, Rausel Crisenberry Presley.

Info about my great-grandfather Rausel: born 1847 in TN, lived in Leake Co., MS in the 1850s-1930s. Filed for Confederate pension in Leake Co. under name R.C. Presley and stated he enlisted in Dec. (Nov.?) 1864 in Co I, 39th Miss. Inf. His service records are under the name R.C. Pressley (a surname spelling variant in my family). He was captured 9 April 1865 in Blakely, Ala., imprisoned on Ship Island, Miss., and paroled at Jackson, Miss. 12 May 1865. He would have been 17 years old for the duration of his service in Co I, 39th Miss. Inf.

Thanks, Ann
