Hello Carolyn, This is probably who you are inquiring about. Allen M. Webb enlisted at Little Rock, Arkansas on July 23, 1861 for one year in Company G 11th Regiment, Arkansas Infantry. He was taken prisoner at Island #10 on April 8, 1862 and was taken to Camp Douglas, Illinois. I do see where he was scheduled to be paroled and exchanged per the Dix-Hill Cartel in September 1862 at Vicksburg, Mississippi. However in pencil a notation was made that he was sick. He very well could have died at Camp Douglas but that is nothing but subjective logic on my part. Company G was nicknamed the Camden Knights and many of the soldiers did come from Ouachita County, Arkansas.
