George, Milldale, MS was base for the 2nd Miss. Militia "state troops" . Not after organizing in 1862. Not sure if they ever fight at Milldale, but believe they were held in reserve and may have seen action at Snider's Bluff. I'm almost certain they were gone when the federal troops arrived.
