I think this is Adam Alexander Cobble/Cauble of Rowan Co, North Carolina. This fits the POW listing as being a resident of Rowan Co NC and a farmer. He would have been 16 at the time of his capture and given that he was from NC, I expect he was a late addition to the 7th/11th Mississippi and not part of the original Goode's Company from Covington MS.

This fellow is found in the 1860 Census South of Salisbury, Rowan Co NC family #603 Dwelling#559 born 1848 to an Issac and Selina Cauble. He is listed as a native of North Carolina, occupation Farmer.

Further investigation finds him in Rowan Co NC married and lived his life there, dying 23 Dec 1936. Birth listed as 2 Oct 1848. Married a Polly Lunda Earnhart 6 Feb 1873. Had 3 children.

No doubt this is a Mississippi Unit guy likely picked up as a replacement late in war.

Hope this helps, enjoyed the 7th MS website too.
