Does anybody know what happened to LtCol W.W. Reynolds of the 15th (NW) Arkansas Infantry between the time of Champion Hill and his reappearance in Arkansas post Vicksburg? The regiment is under his command at Champion Hill but is surrendered by Capt. Caleb Davis. Can't find mention of him being wounded or captured.
