Here is the complete citation along with some clarifying information:

General Hospital (Lauderdale Springs) Record Group 109, A prescription book, 1862-63 (ch. VI, vol. 643, p. 1-60)

This was taken from:

The Confederacy, A Guide to the Archives of the Government of the Confederate States of America, Henry Putney Beers, National Archives and Records Administration, Washington, D. C., 1986, page 186

Needham Temples was recorded present on August 30, 1862 when the company was located at Saltillo, Miss. Subsequently, at the next muster, October 30, when the company was near Waterford, he was listed as absent, in hospital. Then, at the next bi-monthly muster, December 30, 1862 they noted that he had died October 20 last. I am assuming that he was admitted to the Lauderdale Springs hospital as his brother. Hopefully, the prescription book noted above may contain his medication and that he can be found irrespective of his brother.

His brother Lorenzo Temples, Private, Company E, 37th Mississippi Infantry, was present on August 30, 1862, recorded as at the General Hospital, Lauderdale Springs, Miss. sometime in September, 1862, recorded as sick in hospital on the October 30, 1862 muster roll, and as absent, in hospital at the end of year muster, returning back to the company sometime in January/February, 1864
