Ron,
I would appreciate knowing if it would be possible to receive copies of any first person documents you have and could share that pertain to the family, duties and/or activities of Pvt. to Corporal (Dr.) Thomas D. Gordon, Co. E, 3rd Battl. Miss. Inf., who enrolled 11 Nov. 1861 at Natchez, Adams Co., Miss.; and was killed 31 Dec. 1862 at the Battle of Murfreesboro, TN.
I have been developing an annotated roster on this battalion, aka 45th Miss. Inf. Regt., as well as the 32nd Miss. Also, work on a manuscript pertaining to the history of these two regiments and their battle flags is also in process.
