Re: 7th Miss. Cavalry-Laban Hall

Laban Hall was born in 1795 in Fairfield county, S.C. His first marriage was to Jane Hunter in 1818 and she died in 1844 in Fairfield county, S.C. His second marriage was to Elsey A. Parker, widow, who had one child by first marriage. She died and Laban moved to DeSoto county Ms. in 1846 and after several years he married Sarah Younger. Laban died in 1865 in DeSoto county, Ms.
Laban Hall, who served in the 7th Ms. was the son of Mansell Hall, brother of Laban Hall.

Laban Hall, the one born in 1795 did have a son named Laban Hall, but he was too young to serve in the war. However, both Mansell Hall's son, Laban and Laban Hall's son, Laban were both physicians.
