Hello! My GGG Grandfather was regimental color bearer for the 4th (after 1862).

I've written a short ebook about the 4th Mississippi Infantry available on amazon.com for $2.99. Thats the promotion. Here's the rest...I plan to do a three volume short set on the 4th. The First was secession to the post- Fort Donelson imprisonment. The second one will be about the Vicksburg and the third will conclude with Fort Blakely.

I am very impressed with the knowledge at this forum. You probably will already know the material in the book, so be advised. Hopefully, I have everything right.

My intention is to complete the three volume set and revise the books as I go. I would love to have some information on your ancestors, etc. If I can get enough in, I will get the second edition out as soon as i can.

I'm definitely on a shoe-string budget. Being in GA makes it tough to do grunt work.
