There exists confusion regarding these battles or skirmishes.There were apparently TWO distinct battles that occurred several months apart. The battle involving the farm of O.P. Wright was fought on or about May 14,1864. The battle of Barrett's farm was fought on or about July 3-4,1864. If anyone can further clarify or add to this, much appreciation.
