March and April 1863 Absent, furloughed from Dalton, GA 60 days from 5 Dec. 62, by order of War Dept. July and Aug. 1863 Absent, furloughed from 10 May 63, for 60 days by order of Gen. Bragg, yet unfit for duty. Sept. and Oct. 1863 Absent, furloughed for 60 days from 16 May 63 by order of Gen. Bragg, reported yet unfit for duty. Nov. and Dec. 1863 Deserted, dropped from roll Nov. 17, 1863, in consequence of long continued absence.
