Thank you for the information Bruce. Colonel Biffle was quite a cavalryman during the war. I presume the Colonel already has a personal marker. Am in touch with several of his descendents. We will all have to just take up a collection and get him a CSA marker along with a dedication someday.

The information I have is that Colonel Biffle became a cattleman in Cooke County after the war. How ironic his demise after dodging a thousand yankee bulletts. Biffle complained to his trail cook about the meal. Cook shot him in the stomach.
