French's Division Hospital - Enterprise

My gg-grandfather, Henry L. Jones, was in the 34th GA, Co. D. They were part of Stevenson's Divison sent to Vicksburg late December 1862/early January 1863. My ancestor shows up on the Hospital muster role of French's Division Hospital in Enterprise, MS from Feb. 28th to June 30th, 1863. I have a couple of questions:

1. Can I find out why he was there? Would the muster role provide any additional information?
2. When and where was the hospital set up? When did French's Division arrive in Mississippi?

I'm trying to piece this part of Henry's life together. He wasn't in Vicksburg during the siege but was placed on guard detail to Richmond in May/June 1863. All I have are the compiled service records.

thanks for your help.
