Company F

Stationed at Camp Little, near Saltillo, Mississippi, March 29-
August 31, 1862.
Stationed at Aberdeen, Mississippi, May 15, 1862.
Stationed at Okolona, June 14, 1862.
Stationed at Camp Rogers, near Waterford, Mississippi, Septem-
ber-October 1862.
August 31.— This company left Saltillo, Mississippi and marched
to Guntown.
September 11.— Left Guntown for Iuka. [Distance,] forty-five
miles. Marched for four days.
September 15.— Reached Iuka and remained.
September 21.— Marched fifty-five miles in three days to Bald-
wyn by Bay Springs, and there remained.
September 26.— [Marched] to Ripley, and from Ripley to
Corinth.
October 3-5.— Was in the battle at [Corinth]. From thence we
came to Ripley and from thence to Holly Springs.
October 31.— From thence [we came] to Camp Rogers, near
Waterford, Mississippi.

November-December 1862.
November 9.— This company left Waterford. Marched twelve
miles to Abbeville through much dust.
December 1.— Left Abbeville and marched sixty-three miles to
Grenada.

December 28.— Left Grenada.
December 29.— Came by railroad to Vicksburg. Marched twelve
miles at night through mud and water two feet deep. The trip
was undesirable. We are now encamped at Snyder's Bluff.
