I have a family history site on Ancestry.com that has Civil War records - US Civil War Soldiers, American Civil War Soldiers, and US Civil War Soldiers Records and Profiles. They don't have information on pension applications.

I do not know how I would find a copy of the application.

Dont't think someone would erect the headstone without a source of information.
