At the University of Mississippi a student had to be at least 16 to enter the fresman class, 17 to enter the Sophomore class and so on. However, if they received special permission to enter at 15 they could be allowed in. I am aware of a few who entered the freshman class under the age of 16, or under aged for their class. Most seem to have entered the freshman class about age 17 to 18.
