I must say you have me completely confused now. Davidson Kirk is the father of James Kirk born in 1834. Who is George Kirk???? When was Davidson born? I found a Davidson Kirk born 1804 N. C. with no family in the 1850 Hinds county census.

Now to add to the confusion I find in the a James Kirk born in 1833, North Carolina, with mother Margaret in the 1880 Tishomingo census. Father is listed as being born in Virginia. Does that sound like your family???
