My G G Grandads Best Friend and Neighbor, his son is my Great uncle. In the letters, Vicksburg 19th 1863, he mention John Foster. I just found the letters , I have not read all of them yet. link Below.

( North ) came up, Died July of 1863, in Mississippi. Now I am all Confused.
