This Saturday, May 8th, at 10AM, the new Kentucky Confederate Monument on the Vicksburg battlefield will be dedicated. The monument is located on what was originally Kentucky Avenue, off the south loop of Confederate Avenue, between tour stops 13 and 14. The public is invited.
