S. A. General Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee, Convalescent, age 17, forwarded to Camp Chase, Ohio prison camp arriving January 15, 1865, died February 17, 1865 of Pneumonia, buried in grave #1316, 1/3 mile south of the Camp Chase

* This company was successively designated as Captain Knox's Company, (Old) Company G, and (New) Company I, 8th Regiment Mississippi Infantry

Congress passed, by orders of the President, February —, 1861
by General A. S. Johnston from October 18, 1861 (date of this
muster) for their unexpired term, unless sooner discharged. . . .
