J. G. Allen is listed in the Marion County Miltary Records, MS Conveyance Book D, dated Febryary 21, 1863. He is listed as part of Captain Green's Company, 3rd Mississippi regiment, 7th Mississippi Battalion. I am hunting any information anyone might have on this man.
