I believe Gary Lancaster has written a history of Turner's Battery, but it has never been published. I don't have Gary's phone number, but you can contact him through the William Barksdale Camp of the SCV in Columbus, Mississippi. I believe Gary is an officer in the Barksdale Camp - they do have a website, so you can check there. Another person you might check with is Duffy Neubauer in Starkville Mississippi. He started a group that reenacts as Turner's Battery, and he has done a lot of research on the unit. I was a member of the battery for about 10 years, and it is one of the best Civil War artillery outfits in the country.
