Cavalry"; the cemetery list shows Z.T. LEE in 1st MS Cav., Co. C. Is this one and the same unit?

The Zachary Taylor Lee I'm searching for was bn in Calhoun Co. MS and his descendants say he was in "Yerger's MS. Cavalry.
