Wow, thanks for your prompt response and clarification. I have been away from my computer for a few days and just now read your comments. My info is sketchy at best and I am less than a novice in this field. Irregardless of the circumstances and the outcome of the Civil War, I do feel a sense of pride in knowing that my great, great grand-dad responded to the call of duty and did what he could to protect his family and way of life.
