My ggggrandfather was a Williams also. Lorenzo Dow Williams in the Bloody Sixth, company C Quitman Southerns Infantry. He died on Nov 30th and his body was never recovered. His great-grandfather was also a John Williams, obviously not the same John as yours. I don't know of any pictures, but I would love to find one. Wonder if our lines cross anywhere?
