My G-Grandfather John Bunyon Harris, 3 of his brothers Jesse, David, & Miles and his Step Father in-law Wm. Mcdowell were all in the Union Army in the 130 th, company H volunteer infantry, out of Richland county Illinois. All except John (lucky for me) and Miles were killed in the war. All except David participated in the siege af Vicksburg and their names are inscribed in the Illinois Vicksburg monument, at Vicksburg. I would like to find someone in that area, willing to take pictures, or do rubbings of the names. Is someone willing to help? Thanks in advance. Bev.
