My 2nd great grandfather had 2 sons who fought in the "Bloddy" 6th. Wiley Allison Williams and Vinson Eugene Williams. Their father John Williams, was drafted in 1863 and served w/ the 46th Ms. Co. B and was mortally wounded, died and is buried at Vicksburg. Wiley left after VB fell, but Vinson finished the war w/ the 6th.
