A friend of mine is very interested in knowing whether any Mississippi CS troops (especially early in the war) went out in black frock coats. I've heard of many colors being used early in the war, but I don't know of any MS CS troops who went out in black. Anybody know of any such MS CS units? My friend really wants to have a black MS CS frock/uniform made, but doesn't want to do so if he can't authenticate the ensemble. Thanks! -- Jim Huffman
