Many thanks for the information with regards events leading to the action at Kings Creek. This has proved most invaluable. I have tried to pinpoint on a map where Mud Creek and Rocky Ford are but without success. Also I have been unable to establish where Salem is. Phillips command passed through it on the 21st June on their way to Pocahontas. Could you possible give me a general locality for these places, the major nearest towns would be useful.
