Re: 32nd Miss. at Murfreesboro?

Maybe I can save someone some time. My g grandfather was a brother of Samuel L. and Thomas B. Settle. I found and transcribed the letters in the Ole Miss library several years ago. They were written from camp in Tullahoma, TN and the area around Chattanooga during 1863. Samuel joined the army in October, 1863, well after Murfreesboro. Thomas joined the 23rd Infantry in 1861, escaped capture at Fort Donaldson in February, 1862, came home, joined the 32nd Infantry a month later and served until the end of the war. The letters are interesting reading but I found no mention of Murfreesboro.
