I've checked all of my sources and I can't find Branch Peters anywhere.

I did find two Confederate servants from MS, but both are only known by their last names.

Both, coincidentally, have the last name "Peter" (not "Peters") and both served in companies that were formed in Pontotoc County, not Monroe.

One served in Co. B, 41st MS Infantry, and the other served in Co. K, 31st MS Infantry.

Sorry I couldn't help, but remember that 20% of MS CS soldiers are undocumented, and I would guess that something like 95% of CS servants are, sadly, undocumented.
