Actually, the one to ask would be Ms. Daisy there in Rodney. She is an old colored lady who was born and raised there. She lives just down past the Presbyterian Church on the left. Be prepared to be there a while, as I could listen to her stories all day. If you ever go, ask her about Rodney and the flood of '27.
Rodney is dear to me as I was married in the old Presbyterian Church in 2000. The town cemetery on the hill behind the church is like stepping back in time. Behind it is some little know Confederate earthworks.
