The monument the State of Kentucky erected in 1902, to commemorate the Confederate cemetery at Perryville Battlefield, is inscribed with the names of those 444 fallen combatants Henry P. Bottoms was able to identify from their effects. Your men are listed on the monument as the 37th MS, a designation which did not happen until March of 1863. But the following men are known to rest here:

From the known 24 KIA, 125 WIA and 1 MIA Col. Benton's Rgt incurred here (50%), that leaves 3 KIA and 1 MIA, from our list, still unaccounted for, from the 34th MS at Perryville.
