I have looked on the internet for a map that would show this area but I can't find anything detailed. My Ggrandfather was in the 31st Inf Tilman Newton Ross, along with his brother, William T. Ross. My ggrandfather lost an eye in the battle on the Comite River near Baton Rouge, LA. If anyone can tell me where to look for a good map of the Oxford and Water Valley area I would appreciate it.
I'm afraid that the fighting may have been insignificant in comparison to other areas and hard to find a detailed map. Thanks for your help. Richard Ross
