I discovdred a grave marker for John S. Davis in the Old Pisgah Cemetery in NW Rankin Co, MS and photographed it. I believe he is related to me but I don't have a clue as to who he might be. Can anyone tell me where I could go to get inflrmation on this CSA soldier? His rank was listed as Sgt., Co. B, 6 MISS INF., CSA.

PS, I have tired several Internet links but cannot find one tht gives me any information except burial location, enlistment date, and discharge date. I tried to e-mail the MS Dept. of Archives but could not get "contact us" to connect me to a page to write to them to order papers for John S. Davis. Suggestions?
