I actually have the referenced article, but I might not have had it, so the favor is much appreciated!

Now, if you can just find documentation of any of the types of battleflags the 43rd MS carried!

The regiment was presented a flag in 1864, handmade by a Miss Helen Cozart of Columbus, MS, but we don't know -- for sure -- what type flag it was.

The marvelous Greg Biggs thinks it was almost certainly a 2nd National ("Stainless Banner"), but we have no documentation.

Sorry for lapsing into my fantasy list for the 43rd MS!
