I have been told that John E.Cooley born Jan 1, 1828 in Wayne Cou. MS fought in the Civil War. He married Mary Travis. He had four brothers who fought also. I have found records of them but none on John. Does anyone have any info on him. His brothers were Middleton 38 when he served, Harbard 57 when he served, Berry 31 and William 52. What is the explanation for the age of these men?
