Looking for information on my great-grandfather Edward A. Ogletree who enlisted with Co. B, 14th MS Inf in May 1861. He was captured at Fort Donaldson, TN on Feb 16, 1862 and sent to POW Camp at Camp Douglas, IL. Exchanged in May 1862 and was transferred to Co. I, 36 Inf. He was from Georgia and I have no idea of why or how he wound up with a Mississippi unit and whether or not the company he transferred to was a Georgia or Mississippi unit.

He is buried in Attica Baptist Church Cemetery outside Athens, GA.

Anyone have any information would be appreciated.
