I use the CW Research Database from which I can obtain thumbnail extracts from the CSRs for all CW Units, North & South. Much more information than that of the NPS Sailors & Soldiers System. Quite frequently we can obtain additional personal material on individuals as they rely on State & other resources.

I belong to a subscription service which at present has the CSRs available on-line for Alabama, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina. That's all for the present. Mississippi is not there at present.
